The Steam Dreams Rail Co. is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of the Santa Steam Express, spreading holiday cheer for its third consecutive year. Departing from London Victoria on the 15th, 18th, and 21st of December, this festive train ride promises a magical experience with regular departures throughout the day.
Hauled by the iconic 61306 Mayflower, families will be greeted with warm smiles and festive jingles by Santa and his cheerful helpers as they embark on a 1-hour and 30-minute journey through the heart of the capital. The vintage carriages are adorned with holiday decorations, setting the perfect backdrop for this joyous ride.
With four daily departures at 9:30, 11:45, 15:30, and 17:45, the Santa Steam Express accommodates early risers and afternoon adventurers alike.
Adults can savor the welcoming embrace of warm mulled wine, tea, or coffee, accompanied by a delectable festive mince pie. Meanwhile, children will be delighted with Christmas-themed activity sheets, snack boxes filled with juice and seasonal treats, and the anticipation of a special visit from Santa and his team of merry Elves, bearing precious Christmas gifts.

There are three classes-of-travel for passengers to choose from: First Class, Premium Standard and Standard Class.
New for this year is the addition of private, First-Class compartments. Situated in vintage carriages with period details, beautifully restored wood panelling, and luxurious, comfortable armchair style seating arranged around smartly dressed tables. They are ideal for larger families and groups as each compartment seats six passengers. Available at £550 per compartment.
Premium Standard and Standard Class will be hosted aboard a range of festively decorated, classic carriages with varied jewel-toned interiors.
